BIO
I I began this jounrey at 10 years old. My 2 older siblings and I were putting on plays for our parents and I instinctively gathered the best pots and pans to create the dramatic soudntrack, also gravitating towards the piano, playing one sustained note, marvalling at it's transformative magic.
Studying Production and Music for Film at LCoM, I fell deeper into this fascinating relationship between music and story. Graduating with the David Thompson Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievements in 2017, I then dived into the independent film scene. Since then, I've composed music for nearing 40 projects. Many of these have been in association with Sundance, Cannes, BFI, Bafta and Pinewood Studios and have collectively won over 100 awards from international festivals. Lately, I had music played a BBC programme, Country File and was brought on to write additional music for the Amazon Prime Documentary Formula E and the Netflix Documentary TAKE THAT.
I had the honour of receiving a BEST ORIGINAL SCORE award at the FP Arts Annual Awards, for the hugely successful 2024 short film Opening Up Directed by Oz Arshad. And my thrilling and deeply emotional score for Ian Asbjornsen's sci-fi epic Odyssey Omega won 4 Best Original Score awards in 2021. I've also had the pleasure of working with Emmy nominated actress and writer Latitia Wright on her debut short film Things I Never Told My Father.
I've also been involved with top adverts like Rightmove, Amazon, Rolex, Morrisons and Uber. Being commissioned to write bespoke demos for the company Strings & Tings. In 2023 his commissioned demo was chosen for the Marks & Spencers autumn advert cosy.
Most recently, I've composed and joint produced an album with Amity and BAM music, HANDPAN PATTERNS. Displaying and fine-tunning my love for this marvellous instrument.
